The kits for making these dolls are available in TWO choices, one geared
to the beginner and one appropriate for the experienced craftsperson. We
also offer a completed doll done with your choice of OUR fabrics, and for
the truly meticulous, a custom option in which you supply us with your
own fabric, and let us create a unique Kimekomi doll for you.
The first, and easiest for the beginner is a kit which comes with fabrics,
powder glue and wooden glue included. The fabric choice will be made by
us from our selection of beautiful fabrics and may vary from kit to kit.
A paper pattern is NOT included with this kit. We call this our "COMPLETE SET".
The second, and more challenging kit is called the "BODY". In this package the fabrics and the glues must be chosen and purchased
separately. Again, a paper pattern is NOT included. This option allows
the more experienced crafter a wider range of options for the finished
doll. For the dollmaker who wants a unique finished doll, one that coordinates
with the colors or a theme in the final setting, this may be the better
choice of options.
We also offer a "FINISHED" option. Here our staff of experienced dollmakers will complete a finished doll to your specifications, while still allowing you to choose the fabrics for the completed doll.
